چکیده

Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) is a crop of high socioeconomic importance for several tropical and subtropical regions the world. It mainly present in small cultivated areas that unintentionally guard large part species' germplasm. The work aimed to evaluate population structure genetic diversity 156 traditional sweet cassava accessions from Western Paraná Midwestern Santa Catarina using 29 microsatellite molecular markers. All loci included were considered polymorphic, ranging 3.00 7.00, with an average 3.93 alleles per locus, value heterozygosity (Ho) was 0.6185. polymorphism information content (PIC) presented amplitude varied 0.4887 (GA134) 0.7041 (GA131), 0.6130, while ranged 0.5688 0.7424 0.6751. Analysis based on demonstrate can be separated into two distinct subpopulations - some mixtures observed according Delta K = 2 groups. ideal number groups found at 3, level which divided grouped unique subpopulation. variability among cultivars evaluated wide, most dissimilar mostly Toledo states, constituting source genes breeding programs development new cultivars.

Assessment of genetic diversity and relationship of coastal salt tolerant rice accessions of Kerala (South India) using microsatellite markers

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the most significant cereal crops, about 3 billion people, nearly half the world's population; depend on rice for survival and it offers up to 80% of daily energy intake in most of the Asian countries. Knowledge of the distribution, extent and pattern of genetic variation is useful for estimation of any possible loss of genetic diversity and its role in breeding...

Genetic Diversity and Population Structure of Iranian tulips revealed by EST-SSR and NBS-LRR Markers

The genus Tulipa L. (Liliaceae) comprises about 100 species and Iran is considered as one of the main origins of tulips. In this research, genetic diversity and population structure of 27 wild populations of tulips collected from Iran were studied by 15 highly polymorphic and reproducible expressed sequenced tag-simple sequence repeat (EST-SSR) markers and 8 nucleotide binding site (NBS)-enzyme...

Genetic diversity and population structure of different varieties of Morada Nova hair sheep from Brazil.

The aim of this study was to analyze genetic diversity and population structure among varieties of White (N = 40), Red (N = 32), and Black (N = 31) Morada Nova hair sheep from flocks in the northeastern Brazilian semiarid region. Fifteen nuclear microsatellite markers and two regions of mitochondrial DNA were used. The intra-population analysis demonstrated that the White variety had higher div...

Analysis of Genetic Diversity and Population Structure of Sesame Accessions from Africa and Asia as Major Centers of Its Cultivation

Sesame is an important oil crop widely cultivated in Africa and Asia. Understanding the genetic diversity of accessions from these continents is critical to designing breeding methods and for additional collection of sesame germplasm. To determine the genetic diversity in relation to geographical regions, 96 sesame accessions collected from 22 countries distributed over six geographic regions i...
